Cheyenne Frontier Days provides a unique opportunity for the Order of Atlas. We are able to make our entire years worth of fundraising in just 10 days! However, this relies on the dedicated support of selfless volunteers during that window of time.

What does Volunteering Look Like?
Volunteering is simple and straight forward. We sell beverages during concerts at night and the rodeo during the day at Cheyenne Frontier Days. All you have to do is signup and arrive for your chosen shift. Daytime Volunteers get free entrance to the rodeo and carnival grounds all day and nightime Volunteers get to watch the concerts from right in front of the stage! During previous years Volunteers have even been taken on stage or gotten to interact with the artist!

Do I need to take leave to volunteer?
Nope. As long as you are volunteering during your off-duty hours, you do not need to be on leave status. Leave is only required if you want to take time off of your scheduled duty hours to volunteer.

Has Anything Changed?
Aboslutely! We no longer perform cleanup of the staduim following the rodeo each day as was done in the past.

Why Volunteer?
All funds raised go directly to supporting past and present ICBM Maintainers and this 10 day window of fundraising is where we raise all of it! The Turkey Feed, Holiday Party, MPOY Celebration, Squadorn Morale Patches, Airmen Assistance Grants, and every cookout are only made possible by dedicated volunteers. Without volunteers during Cheyenne Frontier Days, we could not support Airmen in need or provide all the events throughout the year free of charge.
